Cell lysis by adding varying amounts of water. Water (8 mL, 16 mL, 32 mL, 64 mL, and 128 mL) was added to each wet cell (1 g) of ABRG5-3, SK1-2-1, or NIES-39 culture, and the lysis ratio in the dark was calculated on the sixth day. The mean of the values obtained from three independent experiments is shown together with standard errors
