Growth of transgenic yeast on solid media under Al stress. Yeast cells were pre-incubated in SC-liquid medium containing 2% (w/v) glucose to an OD600 of 2.0. Ten-fold serial dilutions were prepared (1:10, 1:100, 1:1000 and 1:10,000), and 5 μL of each dilution was spotted onto SC-trp medium supplemented with 2% (w/v) galactose and 0 mM, 0.1 mM, 0.2 mM, 1 mM, or 2 mM Al3+. The results were recorded after the cultures were incubated at 30 °C for 3 days
