Both uncleaved and cleaved CP protein are produced. Western blotting analysis carried out on protein extracts using a rabbit polyclonal anti-CP antibody (A and B) and a mouse monoclonal anti-6His antibody (C and D). Fifteen micrograms of protein were prepared from mock-inoculated control plants (A2, B2, C2 and D2), plants inoculated with PVX6His2ACP (A3, B3, C3 and D3), plants inoculated with PVX6HisE212ACP (A1 and C1) or with PVX6HisE222ACP (B1 and D1). Standards Molecular weight are shown on the left of each figure (kDa = kiloDaltons).
