Fibre content in the straw. Plants of the transgenic flax line B14 and the control flax Nike were grown in a field and harvested on the 107th day of their growth. The plants were retted for 40 days using the dew method. The percentage of fibre in the straw was determined. Black bar – control flax Nike. Checked black bar – transgenic flax B14.
