Relative levels of glycoprotein and PglB expression in epPCR variants. EPA-CP5 levels in periplasmic extracts of deep well plate cultures were determined by sandwich ELISA (solid bars, left y-axis, wt = 100%). ELISA signals were corrected for absorbance of PglB mut control wells (ΔAbs. 450 nm). PglB production was analysed by anti-HA Western blot of total cell protein samples (open bars, right y-axis, band intensity of wt = 100%).
