Elispot results from PB and BV immunised mice. IFNγ (A) and IL-2 (B) ELISPOT analysis of Gag CD8+ and CD4+ T cell responses on day 12 (D12) after vaccination of mice with PB or BV VLPs or responses on day 40 (D40) for mice primed with pTHgagC on day 0 then boosted on day 28 with PB or BV VLPs. Splenocytes prepared from spleens combined from five mice per group were used in IFN-γ or IL-2 ELISPOT assays with the indicated gag peptides or irrelevant peptide (irrel pept) or in the absence of peptide (med) as indicated. Bars are the mean number of spots of triplicate reactions for 106 splenocytes with indicated standard deviation of the mean.
