Binding assay of human IgG to mannosylerythritol lipid-A and gangliosides. The glycolipids were attached inside the wells of microtiter plate. The wells were incubated with 100 μl of human IgG solution (10 μM) of 10 m M phosphate-buffered saline (150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2) for 1 hr. After washing, bound human IgG were detected by a sandwich assay using an enzyme-labeled anti-human IgG or anti-human IgG Fab fragment or anti-human IgG Fc fragment.
