  1. Five quantitative factors at 2 levels allowing the Design Expert to generate 21 "matrix" tests and 3 points in the center, all divided into 3 blocks. These 21 "matrix" tests are sufficient to estimate the constant, the two degrees of freedom of the block effect, the 5 1st order coefficients and the 10 2nd order interactions under satisfactory orthogonally conditions (the VIF do not exceed 1.14). This is likely an optimal plan
