The horizontal axis shows amino acids position and the vertical axis shows the degree of hydrophobicity. The numbers above zero (positive) are hydrophobic regions and the numbers below zero (negative) are hydrophilic regions of the signal peptide. After modification, the hydrophobicity of the signal peptide as well as number of hydrophobic amino acids increased
