Viral titers of BHK-2P cells maintained in ACF media with increasing concentrations of ammonium chloride. Cells were infected with FMDV A IRN/8/2015 (open circles) or O SAU/18/2015 (filled squares). No difference in viral titer (a) was observed for any of the tested conditions. Cell viability 20 hpi (b) increased with increasing concentration of ammonium chloride in the cell media.
