Immunoenzymatic activity assays. Ability of human recombinant pro-relaxin H2 to stimulate cAMP production in a relaxin receptor expressing cell line (THP1) in comparison to the relaxin standard. The tagged and native recombinant pro-forms of the hormone were compared. 24 h P.I indicates that the test was performed on the supernatant collected during the fermentation process; P.P. indicates that the test was performed on prorelaxin samples recovered after purification.
