Hydrodynamic loading has limited impact on MSC based constructs with cultivated with low concentrations of TGF-β3 (1 ng/mL). Modulation of COL2A1 was considered significant with high magnitude hydrodynamic loading after 2 weeks of culture relative to time and concentration matched controls. Noticeably, the regulation of osteogenic genes with shear observed in unsupplemented controls disappears. Genes with statistically significant regulation are highlighted with a red box.
