Production of N355Q in 3 L fermenter. Overnight culture of the recombinant Y. lipolytica expressing N355Q in liquid YPD medium (100 mL) was inoculated into 1 L of modified PPB medium and cultivated for 140 hours. See Methods for detailed fermenter operating conditions. The arrow indicates the starting point for glycerol feeding. Each value represents the mean of three independent measurements
