Size separation of tuber starch polyglucans. Starch was solubilised in NaOH and gelatinised by heat before size exclusion chromatography on a Waters Ultrahydrogel Linear column. Curves are the means of measurements on three independent biological replicates per line. Carbohydrate in the eluate was measured by refractive index.
