Cytokine and chemokine secretion of pan-monocytes and pro-inflammatory monocytes upon LPS and PPD stimulation. Pan-monocytes (circles) and pro-inflammatory monocyte populations (squares) were subjected to LPS (grey) or M. tuberculosis PPD (black) stimulation for 24 h. Supernatants were harvested and analysed for IL-10, MCP-1, MIP-1β and TNF-α levels (ND: not detectable). Data presented as scatter-plots were subjected to Wilcoxon signed rank testing: *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, *** p < 0.001.
