Size exclusion gel filtration chromatography of tPA using a Superdex 200 column. tPA (MW ~60.8Â kDa) was eluted as a single peak at a volume of 72Â ml, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 66.68Â kDa on the calibrated column. Standard protein samples (black data points) were used for calibration: albumin bovine V (66.2Â kDa), chicken egg albumin (44.2Â kDa), chymotrypsinogen A (24.5Â kDa), and lysozyme (14.4Â kDa).
