Sucrose conversion in reactions containing 4 U/mL of initial enzymatic activity, 120 g/L of sucrose and 120 g/L of xylose was measured after each 3 h batch-reaction cycle. Sucrose conversion after the first cycle was around 81% (± 7.3) for all CLEAs. R360K-CLEAs are included in both figures. Results represent the mean (± SD) of three experiments.
