Expression analyses. RT-PCR of samples derived from third order infections' systemic leaves; the plants infected with PVX6His2ACP (A1 and B1), PVX6HisE212ACP (A2) and PVX6HisE222ACP (B2) vectors amplified with PVX FOR and PVX REW specific primers. Lane A3 shows the RT-PCR results for PVX6HisE212ACP using E21 FOR and E21 REW specific primers, whereas in lane B3 for PVX6HisE222ACP samples amplified by E22 FOR and E22 REW specific primers are shown. To evaluate the relative levels of mRNAs, the actin gene was used as an internal control (lower A and B panels). Each experiment was performed in triplicate.
