The pH profile of An PGI transiently expressed in N. benthamiana leaves. The purified polygalacturonase, AnPGI and its fusions with ELP or HFBI were assayed at pH ranging from 3.0 to 6.0, in 50 mM sodium acetate buffer and at pH 6.0 to 9.0, in 50 mM sodium-phosphate buffers at 40°C. Each point was determined in triplicate and shown as the average ± standard error.
