Dissociation of mRNA/PEI polyplexes in HeLa cells. Confocal microscopy images of HeLa cells incubated during 3 h with Alexa Fluor® 546-labeled mRNA (red) condensed with jetPEI™-FluoF (green). Yellow dots correspond to merge signal. Green spots match with jetPEI™-FluoF alone or complexed to unlabeled mRNA, and red spots correspond to dissociated mRNA from polyplexes.
