Values given represent means ± SD; (autologous bone grafts, n = 6; BMP-2 activated muscle grafts, n = 6). No statistically significant difference in bone volume of femora receiving autologous bone grafts versus BMP-2 activated muscle grafts could be determined (p = 0.12).
