Samples were collected 6 days post-infiltration, using 3 plants, 2 leaves from each plant (n = 6) for each biological trial. Results for three different biological trials are shown for each test. The identities of variants tested are given in Table 2. Group superscript letters next to the numbers represent different statistical groups, means with the same letter are not significantly different by the Bonferroni (Dunn) t test using the SAS 9.1 program.
