Representative mice are shown at day 2 (A and D), 4 (B and E) and 8 for (C and F) following biolistic gene transfer. In each panel, the mouse on the left was transfected with gold microcarriers alone, and the mouse on the right was transfected with gold microcarriers conjugated with pCMV-LUC (DLR = 10). Quantitative assessment of these data is shown in panel G.
