mCherry and EBFP2 as an alternative dual imaging pair. Figure 3 shows the 2PA spectra of EBFP2 (blue square) and mCherry (red circle) [3] grouped together with the EBFP2 (blue line) and mCherry (red line) fluorescence emission spectra. At 760 nm EBFP2 and mCherry have 2PA cross sections of 11 GM and 65 GM respectively, and the fluorescence emission maxima are separated by 165 nm.
